JohnMorganHSJohn Morgan, the Ragin Cajun was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cultural, political and economic diversity of that city laid the groundwork for his development as a performer. John is one of nine children and after high school he attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana Lafayette) where he earned degrees in English, Political Science, and Interpersonal Communications. It was during his college career that John discovered he had the gift of comedy.

The “Ragin Cajun” gives parents a “talk” about how to raise children with manners. He thinks we are afraid to bust an ass! The stories will have you busting a gut with laughter! John dares to talk boldly about real issues. Whether he is speaking about children or relationships, his comedy comes from life experience with his wife and kids. Although his material may push some limits, it is never derogatory to any race, sex or creed. He finishes with a heartfelt patriotic theme making his show perfect for Armed Services Week.

Salute to Armed ForcesJohn has worked steadily at comedy clubs, corporate events, and musical arenas. He has made national television appearances on MTV, Showtime, and Night Watch with Charlie Rose. He has been the opening act for Jerry Seinfeld, Kathleen Madigan and numerouse musical artists.

John’s confident demeanor and honest approach to life is refreshingly original.

When not at home playing such roles as husband, papa, handyman, spiderman, or power ranger, John travels the country doing comedy.-

Steve W Brown Stand-upWhen Steve Brown takes the stage he amazes his audience with his witty remarks, extremely original jokes, and his high-energy physical antics. He is blazing a trail across the United States, headlining at major comedy clubs, performing at famous venues, and doing one of his most favorite jobs, hosting university events.

His excitement for performing at universities stems from his love for his alma mater, Stillman College. During his freshman year, Steve discovered his talent and began his career as a comedian. He continued to work towards mastering his craft throughout his collegiate stint, and after the completion of his Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications he began to pursue comedy as a professional career. Steve is also a distinguished gentleman of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Through diligence, persistence, and patience his career has landed him appearances on nationally televised shows.

Steve Brown was born in Detroit, Michigan, but was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where a lot of his comedic material was derived from. He enjoyed a spiritual upbringing as a result of being raised in the church by his grandparents. This rearing explains why some of his funniest comedic material is derived from the church, and throughout the years he has continued to show his love for church congregations while on stage.

Steve’s act is unparalleled and dissimilar to any other comedians around. In addition to his powerful stage presence, Steve has also traveled and performed with the likes of J. Anthony Brown, Eddie Griffin, Martin Lawrence, Bill Bellamy, and Rickey Smiley. He has also worked along the sides of R&B artists, as well as some of today’s top Hip Hop artists during concerts and music videos. He is truly multifaceted while focusing on his main goal which is: “Making YOU laugh!”

When not on stage, Steve is appreciated as a single father of three young men, and two beautiful daughters. His involvement in the community is always expected and is never a funny matter to him. He coaches Little League teams, he has his own scholarship fund for college students, (Steve Brown scholarship fund) and still finds time to substitute teach in the Tuscaloosa County school system in the state of Alabama.

BarbaraCarlisleBarbara has been doing comedy the better side of 2 decades. Her comedic skills are so carefully honed that she leaves audiences in stitches wherever she goes. But comedy hasn’t always been her only contribution to society. Carlyle did a short stint in the Marine Corps (cause she was looking for a few good men) and tried her hand at teaching for a short while.

Barbara has appeared on Apollo Comedy Hour, Def Jam, Comic View, Comic Xscape, just to name a few. A stickler for detail, she can speed read an audience and know exactly where to take her jokes. Hecklers think twice about testing her skills cause this young lady takes no prisoners and die hard wannabes fall prey to her vicious tongue. Carlyle has performed in Germany, The Netherlands, England, the Virgin Islands (trying to be a born again virgin) and other exotic places. Carlyle has one daughter and several baby daddies. You do the math. Her aim in life is to leave an indelible mark in the world of comedy.

Comedian Marvin HunterMarvin Hunter was a stand out on Bounce TV’s Off The Chain. He has been a featured comedian on morning radio shows with Steve Harvey and Rickey Smiley plus he has toured with Mike Epps.

Marvin H. was born and reared in Vicksburg, MS, a city known as “The Red Carpet City of the South”, where Southern Hospitality is still alive and well. An observant child and early opponent of political correctness, his young opinions were given freely to adults (and almost anyone else who would listen), but were mostly returned to him just as freely at the end of a belt. Butt whippings only strengthened his crusade to investigate and uncover foolishness wherever it resided. He became known for exposing any & all absurdities of family, friends, and the human experience…hence his lifelong motto,

“Don’t Knock Foolishness…It’s Nourishment for Funny.”

Although not the class clown in high school, Marvin H. instead found a secret amusement in planting seeds of mischief into the impressionable minds of any would-be attention or thrill seeker within earshot. Being the silent catalyst of funny classroom disruptions always gave him a sense of accomplishment and purpose.

After high school he took this attitude along with him during a brief stay in college where after just a few months he was informed that his unique talents were no longer needed. He then made the decision to move on to the United States Navy where he served 20yrs, 9days, 8hrs, & too many minutes. He was a welder and catfish plate aficionado!

Marvin HunterHe has traveled to every corner of the globe while serving his country and has witnessed his fair share of foolishness…and foolishness is exactly what he has been sharing across the country for the last 6 years served up with a shrewd intellect, unapologetic approach, blended with a Southern charm.

Marvin H. is indeed “The Onliest One Doing it Today” and is a bona-fide must see!

Corey HolcombGoing from hanging in the hood to performing comedy on Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show,” not to mention the privilege of afterward being invited to take a seat on the “couch” which not many comics are asked to do, has been a long and fulfilling journey.

Corey’s comedy genius transcends class and racial divides. If you understand English, Corey’s humor will tickle your funny bone. People all over the world can relate to the drama of trying to make a relationship work. According to Corey, a “hunter” (man) being captured by his “prey” (woman) makes for the best comedy ever.

Corey offers plenty of advice on how men who have been the victim of a “hostile takeover” by the female in the relationship can take back control. You can believe there is no counselor on the planet who offers the kind of relationship advice and remedies Corey dispenses from the stage.

Corey Holcomb’s comedy set is both an auditory and visual experience. His facial gestures alone can make an audience burst with laughter. “I spend a lot of time practicing my stage faces because I need to be able to convey care and concern while I criticize.”

Corey’s film and television credits include 20th Century Fox’s “Like Mike,” a recurring role on UPN’s “Half & Half,” NBC’s “The Tonight Show” and “Late Friday,” Fox’s “Mad TV,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” “It’s Showtime at the Apollo,” and BET’s “Comic View.”

John WitherspoonYou probably remember John Witherspoon as Ice Cube’s (Craig’s) outrageously funny, dog-catching dad in New Line Cinema’s smash urban trilogy Friday, Next Friday & Friday After Next, or as “Pops” on the long-running syndicated sitcom The Wayans Brothers…or as Spoon on NBC’s The Tracy Morgan Show. One thing’s for sure… once you’ve seen Witherspoon you completely understand why he has earned the reputation as one of America’s funniest dads.

His scene-stealing roles in Boomerang, Little Nicky, House Party, Vampire in Brooklyn, and I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, made him one of the most memorable funny men in America. Not only does Witherspoon’s work span over four decades to include blockbuster movies, hit-television shows, commercials, and top-rated music videos, but he’s coined his own catch phrases…as in…”Bang!Bang!Bang!Bang!” and “You Gotta Co-ordinate!”

John WitherspoonThe Orange County Register describes the comedian/actor as being in a class of his own. “Witherspoon is one of those performers who doesn’t need a funny line to be funny. Just standing there in a truculent posture with a suspicious look, he is funny and enlivens every scene he’s in.” The Detroit-bred comic has proven that he is a Hollywood mainstay and continues to land coveted spots in some of America’s favorite movies and television shows.
